Our new Love

So, Court and Brady went to Delta this week and this little CHOCOLATE lab was just dropped off at his parent's neighbor's house.... They were going to give it to the pound, so we rescued the cute little thing and now she is a part of the family. Brady named her Molly, and We absolutely LOVE her!! Did I mention that I have wanted a Choc lab for like 3 years?? Now we have one!

What a good big brother!!

Today, my dad took Brady and Maddie on a walk while I was teaching piano. while on their walk Maddie was just jabbering away as usual. She kept talking and talking and finally my dad asked Brady what she was saying and he said, as a matter of factly, "She wants Da-Da..." So she kept jabbering and Brady told her, "It's ok sis, we are going home to find Da-Da." She kept going and going, and he must have thought that she was upset, because he kept telling her that it was ok and that they would be home soon to find Da-Da... Such a good big brother! Always looking out for his little sis already.

The other day, Brady and I were watching a movie for quiet time. Well randomly, he would kick his feet and because I was down by his feet, he would kick me... So, I asked him not to kick me and he says, "Mom, there are monsters in my feet!!"

Day 5...

So, toaday is day five of potty training and Brady woke up this morning and said, "Mommy, I need to go pee-pee!" His diaper was COMPLETELY dry. I am so proud of my little man! I can't believe how good he is doing!

Potty Training...

Oh wow! So, the last couple days we have been trying to potty train Brady... He is doing really good with the pee side, but going # 2 is a STRUGGLE, to say the least... I thought that the #2 training was supposed to be easier than #1 because it's easier to recognize... Anyway, we have bribed, persuaded, done all that we can to get him to relax and go. So, if anyone has ANY suggestions please, please, PLEASE help!

The other day I was feeding Maddie in her room and Brady comes in and says, "Sister want some of my milks?" (Maybe I should stop feeding her around him...)

Yesterday, Brady was hitting and I stopped him, looked him in the eye, and told him it's not OK to hit. He tipped his head to the side and said, while moving his head quickly closer to me, "I'm SUPERMAN!"

That's all I can remember for now, but I will post more soon, I am sure!

And the Latest...

IMPORTANT!! JUST RELEASED!!! READ THIS!!!

So, as all of you know, My hubby works for a certain insurance company that sells a certain Maternity Benefit. Well, this company has decided to STOP writing all maternity benefits after Feb 15th... So, if you are planning on having any more children, SIGN UP now!!! And keep it until you are through having kids. Once you are signed up, they won't cancel you policy...

We are going to sign up and keep it until we are all done having babies. It ends up paying out at least $3,000 for having a baby. And all you do is pay about $100/month. It has to be in place 10 months before the baby is born, but if you are already preg, and are planning on having more kids, you should sign up too. It won't help with this baby, but will with all the rest!

Court says he will give a $50 gift card to your choice place if you refer someone and they sign up. Remember, there is no more signing up after Feb 15th!!

December?

So, December has come and gone. Boy was it a busy one! We were home for about 6 days in three weeks... It was Crazy! But really fun too! So, i did take lots of pics over Christmas, but I think for the sake of the blogging attention span, I will skip all the details and give you a couple pics and go on. :) We went to Court's sister's wedding on Dec 31 and boy was it a cold one. It was at the Manti Temple. I will just say that Heavenly Father made it a little windy that day. And it had snowed the day before. Here are some pics of that. And the latest is that Maddie is laughing now! It is really cute and funny! Here is a video.
