Potty Training...

Oh wow! So, the last couple days we have been trying to potty train Brady... He is doing really good with the pee side, but going # 2 is a STRUGGLE, to say the least... I thought that the #2 training was supposed to be easier than #1 because it's easier to recognize... Anyway, we have bribed, persuaded, done all that we can to get him to relax and go. So, if anyone has ANY suggestions please, please, PLEASE help!

And for your viewing pleasure, a pic of Brady and his cute cousin Emma, in the tub!

It took a while for Timmy to poop in the potty, so don't expect it to come at the same time. With Timmy, we had to have incentives for each potty training milestone that he achieved. What finally made him excited to go was hearing a plop in the toilet. Sounds gross but he loves it even now! So encourage him to hear a plop and maybe even take him in with you when you go to hear you go plop :)

Also, buying him a new remote control car encouraged him to go also since he really wanted one.

Potty training is hard! We still don't have the nighttime down, who knows when that will happen!

HI TWIN! Ya, potty training is hard, we just celebrate real hard core when he does go number two and we're still crossing our fingers that one of these days he'll get it. So keep trying chica you can do it!

Oh no, I've heard that #2 is sometimes way harder than #1. My friend's little girl didn't go #2 in the potty for almost 6 months after she was fine with #1.... potty training can be quite exhausting... hopefully he sticks with it!

Oh the joys! not really, but it is a part of life. My boys were both 3.5 years old and I made sure they were ready (dry at night etc.) Within a week they understood, not that there are no accidents but...I let them pick out there unders and we had a reward after a week of consistancy. Reed hated pooping but once we made a big deal about it making a funny noise he thought it was funny. Good luck, stay at home for a week and let him run around in his underwear.
